To discover the new Apps hub, click Settings and more (…) in the toolbar and then Apps. The Apps hub and new Apps page are fully available in Microsoft Edge and the Apps sync feature is currently being testing in our Beta channel, and will soon be available to all users.
Manage apps how to#
We have been announcing these features individually in our PWA What’s New release notes as they made their ways to Microsoft Edge over the past couple of releases. Windows application management Learn about managing applications in Windows client, including how to remove background task resource restrictions. Together, they make finding, opening, and managing all of your installed apps and websites on all devices much easier and streamlined. Based on it, we’ve made changes to Microsoft Edge, and we’re happy to announce three new features: You did send us a lot of feedback related to finding and managing your installed apps and sites. Not only do we initially build them based on your needs, but we also take your feedback into account to improve these features over time. We love hearing feedback about features like this. Select the app that you want to further explore or manage.

From the left of Teams, select Apps, then scroll down to select Manage your apps. In the Install new app form, in the SELECT APP panel, select the location of your app file: Repository (default) or Computer.

In the Applications form, c lick INSTALL NEW. Even better, the installed sites and apps behave just like Windows applications: they can be pinned in the Taskbar, or launched from the Start menu for example. The Manage your apps feature gives you a streamlined view of your apps in one list, whether added by you or added on your behalf. To install an application on an open device: On the device toolbar, click the applications icon.
